Proof of 2 MMR immunization or Proof of immunity to Rubella, Rubeola, and Mumps

Flu shot from current flu season or documented flu declination

Two-step TST/PPD or IGRA QuantiFERON Gold or T-Spot, not older than 1 year or chest x-ray

Within a week of hire, new HHAs attend an orientation session featuring True Care’s dynamic training team. Our internal recruiting team assesses your professional strengths and chooses your first assignment before you leave the orientation.

    How can I check if my HHA certificate is still valid?

    If you have not been working for over 2 years or more, then your HHA certificate is no longer valid.

    Do you offer HHA certifications courses?

    Yes! We have a certification program we offer to people interested in becoming a Home Health Aide. Classes are always ongoing, with many location options in the five boroughs. Let us know if you’re interested and we will be in touch with our next training date. HHA Certification

    How long is the HHA training?

    It takes approximately 3 weeks if you are taking a course in English. If you are taking a course in Spanish, it can take anywhere from 4 to 5 weeks. Keep in mind that you cannot be absent for any of the training days.
